About AKT Memorial Polytechnic College

An AICTE-approved, DOTE-affiliated polytechnic started in 2008 by the A.K.T. Noble Cause Volunteers Trust to give the youth of Kallakurichi practical, job-ready technical education.

Our story

Workshops first, theory alongside

The polytechnic was established in 2008 (AICTE permanent ID 1-456830121) and is affiliated to the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai. It is run by the A.K.T. Noble Cause Volunteers Trust, registered in 2003.

Diploma students spend their days in real workshops and labs: machine shop, tool and die, electrical machines, electronics trainers, refrigeration rigs and surveying fields, with examinations in April and October and results in June and December.
